Aims and Scope

Journal for translational and clinical research

Ophthalmic Research features original research and reviews reporting on translational and clinical studies in the field of ophthalmology and vision research. The journal emphasizes hypothesis-based clinical and laboratory research with statistically valid results that clearly advance the fields of ophthalmic and vision research. It also provides a record of international clinical research for both researchers and clinicians in ophthalmology. The transfer of information from fundamental research to clinical research and clinical practice is particularly welcome. The journal is affiliated with the European Vision Institute Clinical Research Network, European Vision Institute, European School for Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology, and the World Society of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
